The service was an instant success, so much so that we continued for a second year. Customers found it convenient, as it helped them handle one more holiday task.

Since then, we've expanded to serve both homes and businesses, offering full installation, decoration and removal. In 2023, we installed the huge Christmas tree at the Centre of Waverley Station, Edinburgh.

Initially, JDS Gardening teams handled the Christmas Tree deliveries and installations, but due to demand from homeowners and businesses across Scotland, we've now launched JDS Christmas with dedicated full-time teams enabling us to deliver Christmas Trees in more areas than ever!

    Our Christmas tree delivery service began in 2020 during lockdown when Josh and Alex realised many couldn't leave their homes. It was an instant success, so we continued the next year, offering a convenient way for customers to handle a holiday task.

Looking after your Christmas tree

To keep your tree fresh throughout the holiday season, make sure it has plenty of water. Check the water level daily and refill as needed.

Keep the tree away from heat sources such as fireplaces or radiators.

Turn off Christmas tree lights when not in use to prevent drying out the tree.

We offer a tree removal service. Our team will pick up your tree after the holidays and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner. You can add this service at the time of booking or request it separately.
